Ferrer, Dolgopolov clash in third round World No. 4 David Ferrer is back on court to face fellow seed Alexandr Dolgopolov for a place in the final 16. The players are slated to contest their seventh career meeting late Saturday.

Fourth seed David Ferrer holds a 5-1 series advantage over 26th seed Alexandr Dolgopolov. Saturday signals their first career meeting on grass.

Ferrer is through to the round of 32 after taking out fellow Spaniard Roberto Bautista Agut in four sets.

"I am improving my game on grass courts," said Ferrer. "I am trying to serve wide a lot of times and go to the net to finish points. Today, I play better than the first round. Roberto played a very good match. He was very tough."

The 31-year-old veteran will be playing his second match in as many days, following a rain interruption on Thursday. Ferrer is seeking his sixth round of 16 berth at the All-England Club.

Dolgopolov advanced to the third round with a straight-sets upending of Columbia's Santiago Giraldo. The 24-year-old tallied 40 winners en route to a 6-4, 7-5, 6-3. Dolgopolov is bidding for his first fourth-round berth at the tournament.
