    Ferrer back on court to face Bautista Agut World No. 4 David Ferrer looks to continue his Wimbledon bid with a second-round victory over fellow Spaniard Roberto Bautista Agut. The players are set to contest their first career meeting on Thursday.

    Fourth seed David Ferrer made a successful start to the tournament on Tuesday, having held on to defeat Argentina's Martin Alund in four sets. The 31-year-old veteran secured six service breaks en route to a 6-1, 4-6, 7-5, 6-2 win.

    Ferrer is seeking his 40th main-draw victory of the season.

    World No. 60 Roberto Bautista Agut is through to the second round after dismissing Russia's Teymuraz Gabashvili in three sets. The 25-year-old Spaniard tallied 31 winners through 149 minutes of competition.

    Bautista Agut will attempt to reach his first round of 32 berth at Wimbledon.
