    Ferrer faces Anderson in round of 16 World No. 5 David Ferrer will be looking to reach the final eight at the French Open, as he takes the court against South Africa's Kevin Anderson. The players are slated to contest their third career meeting on Sunday.

    Fourth seed David Ferrer will attempt to break a 1-1 series tie with 23rd seed Kevin Anderson. Sunday signals their first meeting on clay.

    Ferrer is through to the round of 16 following his straight-sets ousting of fellow Spaniard Feliciano Lopez. The 31-year-old veteran secured a round of 32 victory in 125 minutes, 6-1, 7-5, 6-4. Ferrer is seeking his fourth quarterfinal berth at the French Open.

    Anderson advanced to the fourth round after upending 14th seed Milos Raonic, 7-5, 7-6(4), 6-3. The 27-year-old South African tallied 8 aces and 31 winners through 144 minutes of play. Anderson is bidding for his first quarterfinal berth at the tournament.

    Prediction: Ferrer in straight sets.
