    2/25/13 2:47 AM | Kelli DeMario
Dubai - Federer opens title defense on Monday World No. 2 Roger Federer is set to headline opening day at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships, as he takes the court against wildcard Malek Jaziri. The defending champion looks to win his 8th match of the season.

World No. 2 Roger Federer makes his return to competition following a quarterfinal finish in Rotterdam. The 31-year-old Swiss won a pair of matches before falling to French veteran Julien Benneteau in straight sets, 3-6, 5-7.

Federer will be making his 10th appearance at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships, where he sealed title-winning runs in 2003-2005, 2007 and 2012.

World No. 128 Malek Jaziri looks to win his first match of the season on Monday. The 29-year-old is seeking his first tour-level victory since October 2012, when he made the final four in Moscow.

    Prediction: Federer in straight sets.

Fed 2-0 second set. Jaziri has no chance of finishing this.

ATP ...

Roger Federer believes that he can regain No. 1 in the Emirates ATP Rankings.

Speaking ahead of the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships, Federer said, ?It's definitely realistic if I'm playing great, but I need to play absolutely great.

"I can play great, but will I be allowed to? Time will tell.

?My big focus is on making sure that every tournament I enter I am perfectly prepared. I am hopeful I will get enough matches but if not my schedule can be changed.?
.............
ROFL!!!

You're wrong Ricky... Jaziri has done it already !!!
Never mind the outcome of match...

zare , 2/25/13 5:07 PM

Third set 2:2...
Jaziri had his last match in october... rusty and with knee problem...128 atp ranking.
Fed's game is simply awful.

zare , 2/25/13 5:33 PM

OK... Fed in sec. round... but with lot of problems... poor service, lost of concetration,
unusual UEs.

*concentration :(

Zare, all you do is troll on tennis talk trying to trash talk Federer. What a sad life.

willmw101 , 2/25/13 10:13 PM

Willma...all you do is constantly prooving what moron you are ... LOL!

zare , 2/25/13 11:27 PM

What I say is true Zare, backed up by your boorish, incessant posting above. You just post some drivel about me being a moron, in terrible english as usual, which you dont seem to be able to back up or quantify in any way. Its amazing how consistently you look like an idiot when posting on tennis talk. Well done you.

willmw101 , 2/25/13 11:41 PM

willmw101 - you are the biggest troll on TT. most of ur posts are outridely stupid.
Zare on the other hand comes up with sensible tennis related posts. He is right, you are constantly proving what a moron you are...

lol djokobitch's army of deluded fanboys coming to each others rescue. atul, your posts are consistently useless, therefore your contribution isn't relevant.

willmw101 , 2/26/13 9:54 AM

Poor willma...
Watch today tennis and learn! ... and weep :)
Obviously you are not natural idiot... you are practicing every day...

zare , 2/26/13 2:46 PM

zare's posts are great! wilma, some of your posts are good too ( like your description of Radek ). But most of the time you are discounting Rafa ( you have explained you do it to anti-jinx Rafa but still it hurts Rafans) or attacking other fans for discounting Fed! Why Fed? Are you a closet Fed fan? Or a Fed fan pretending to be a Rafan ( which explains your anti-Rafa posts and attacks on those who do not like Fed)?

holdserve , 2/26/13 3:30 PM

If anyone take a look at few first posts... he will see just facts about match... something what's not possible for willma...
Not one word about attacking Fed... just facts!
Since willma didn't watched the match he can only talk gibberish... like always. On the other site... only constant in his posts is pure hate for Nole!
He speaks chinese mandarin, portuguese, serbian... just another liar and lost soul on net :)

zare , 2/26/13 4:22 PM

Still failing English I see Zare. LOL

willmw101 , 2/26/13 4:40 PM

...pathetic... nothing new :(

zare , 2/26/13 10:08 PM

willma - I am a die hard Rafa fan....but you are an idiot (the only idiotic Rafa fan that I am aware of). Ur posts, especially during Rafa's matches are unbearable and keep me away from TT.
