    Ferrer faces Wawrinka for Buenos Aires title World No. 4 David Ferrer looks to complete a successful title defense with a victory over world No. 17 Stanislas Wawrinka. The players are scheduled to contest their 10th career match Sunday afternoon.

    Top seed David Ferrer holds a 6-3 series edge against 3rd seed David Ferrer, having won four of 5 meetings clay. The two last battled at the 2012 Masters 1000 Paris, where a round of 16 match went to the Spaniard in three sets.

    Ferrer advanced to his third consecutive Buenos Aires final after defeating compatriot Tommy Robredo in straight sets. The 30-year-old veteran converted four of nine break points en route to a 6-3, 6-2 victory in 78 minutes.

    Ferrer is seeking his 20th ATP World Tour title on Sunday.

    Wawrinka is through to the championship final following his straight-sets upending of former Buenos Aires title winner Nicolas Almagro. The 27-year-old Swiss saved four of 4 break points through to a 6-3, 7-5 win in 70 minutes.

    Wawrinka will attempt to secure his first ATP World Tour title since 2011.

    Prediction: Ferrer in straight sets.

I am loving the humor here! It appears that Wawrinka gave a good acccount of himself, taking it to three sets.

I hope to catch the replay on the tennis channel. Maybe at some point we will actually get a picture of Ferrer on here!
