• Benneteau and Dimitrov take the court in Gstaad action

    7/17/12 3:33 PM | Cheryl Murray
Benneteau and Dimitrov take the court in Gstaad action Julien Benneteau and Bulgaria's Grigor Dimitrov will kick off Tuesday's evening session in Gstaad.

France's Julien Benneteau, the man oh-so-close to dispatching Roger Federer at Wimbledon, is back on clay again. The world No. 32 had a solid spring, reaching the third round at both the French Open and Wimbledon.

He will take on young Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov, who seems to finally be making his breakthrough on the ATP tour. He has made the semifinals in two of his last three tournaments, including last week in Bastad.

This match could be entertaining, with both men enjoying good form at the moment. A slight edge will go to Benneteau, only because Dimitrov made a deep run last week and could be fatigued.

    Prediction – Benneteau in 3.
