Because of his back and 3 recent losses on grass, I have almost as low expectations of Andy at Wimbledon as I had of him at RG, which is a shame because potentially it could be his best surface :(
So, one match at a time for us Muzza fans and lots and lots of behind-the-sofa time.
Come on Andy!

Deuce fasten your seat belt forecast turbulance ahead! :(

Lol mojo, did not realise I had to fix seat belts to the faithful sofa!

deuce , 6/26/12 2:41 PM

^^Best be on the safe side, lol! Im hopinbg the in flight service is good and the entertainment even better!

mojo , 6/26/12 5:04 PM

Onto Muzza. My gut feeling is a Muzza victory over Davy.

C'mon!

The seat belt helps when there is a little turbulence - let's hope it is a smooth flight for Andy so that his loyal fans can come out from behind that sofa.

Good luck.

Davy will be toast in straights..............with a few bakery products thrown in for good measure

rafaisthebest , 6/26/12 7:24 PM

Ouch, two breadsticks served to Davy. Imperssive.

Haas going down to Kohlschreiber 1st round. After beating Fed in Halle, I thought he'd be a shoe in to make the finals again! haha!!

Conspirator , 6/26/12 7:54 PM

Davydenko is not a grass court player the real test will come as he goes deep in the draw

tennis2011 , 6/26/12 7:55 PM

Looks like Rafa will get to show Kohlschreiber the difference between a slam and a 250 warm-up in the 3rd round.

Conspirator , 6/26/12 7:57 PM

^^Rafa in three?

mojo , 6/26/12 8:07 PM

Bit of a master class from Mr Murray :) 1 down.....
Come on!

deuce , 6/26/12 8:43 PM

5s to deuce and all! What a refreshing and relaxing spectacle today was, especially in light of recent weeks. Never a cause for doubt from start to finish against kolya. I loved his general composure, and the aggressive forehand that over the past 2 years has started to become a serious part of his game.
For some strange reason I have never found Goliath (R2) a behind-the-sofa job - even when it's tie-breaks, muzz's slingshot return usually does the job eventually.

alex , 6/26/12 10:42 PM

Agree alex, Goliath match not a behind the sofa jobbie, that's reserved for the battles yet to come. Think I shall be outside in the street if he gets to play Raonic...*shiver*...
Mind you, Andy has been practising that back hand slice, which even "little" Davy had problems with...;)
