    Ferrer faces Youzhny in round of 16 World No. 6 David Ferrer is set for a third-round collision with former world No. 8 Mikhail Youzhny on Saturday. The two are joined in action by 17th seed Richard Gasquet, who takes on former world No. 2 Tommy Haas.

    Sixth seed David Ferrer trails world No. 31 Mikhail Youzhny 4-2 in the head-to-head series. The Spaniard leads 1-0 in clay-court matches contested.

    Ferrer is through to the third round after taking out France's Benoit Paire in straight sets, 6-3, 6-3, 6-2. The 30-year-old looks to reach his fourth round of 16 at the French Open.

    Youzhny defeated Dutchman Robin Haase in the second round, 6-3, 7-6(5), 6-4. The 29-year-old Russian is bidding for his third round of 16 berth in Paris.

    (17) Richard Gasquet vs. (Q) Tommy Haas

    World No. 20 Richard Gasquet will attempt to level a 2-1 series deficit against world No. 112 Tommy Haas. Saturday signals their first meeting since 2008.

    Gasquet moved into the third round by virtue of his four-sets victory over Bulgaria's Grigor Dimitrov. The 25-year-old Frenchman dropped the opening set, then regrouped to seal the win in four sets, 5-7, 7-5, 6-2, 6-3. He remains on track to reach his second consecutive round of 16 in Paris.

    Haas dismissed Sergiy Stakhovsky in the second round, 6-2, 6-3, 6-2. The 34-year-old German looks to make his first French Open round of 16 since 2009.
