Top seed Juan Monaco will attempt to reach another clay-court final, as he faces France’s Jeremy Chardy on Saturday. He is joined in semifinal action by fellow Argentine Juan Ignacio Chela, who takes on compatriot Carlos Berlocq.

World No. 29 Juan Monaco holds a 2-1 series lead over Jeremy Chardy entering into the semifinals. The players are set to meet for the first time since 2010.
Monaco rallied to oust 5th seed Albert Montanes in the quarterfinals late Friday. The top seed remains on track to make his 12th ATP World Tour final.
Chardy defeated Frederico Gil in the quarterfinals, 6-2, 7-6(5). The 24-year-old remains on course to make his first tour-level final since 2009.
(2) Juan Ignacio Chela vs. (7) Carlos Berlocq
World No. 25 Juan Ignacio Chela looks to level the series with fellow Argentine Carlos Berlocq on Saturday. The veteran trails 1-0, having lost their only meeting in 2010.
Chela rallied to defeat Joao Souza in the quarterfinals, 5-7, 7-6(6), 6-1. The 32-year-old is bidding for his first championship final since 2011 in Buenos Aires.
Berlocq ousted compatriot Federico Delbonis in the quarterfinals, 6-3, 6-4. The 29-year-old will attempt to make his first tour-level final on Saturday.
