Roger Federer continues his Australian Open bid against Germany's Andreas Beck.
World No. 3 Roger Federer is looking for his first slam title in two years as he competes in Melbourne this year. He eased through the first round in straight sets over Russian qualifier Alexander Kudryavstev and looks to do the same against Andreas Beck.
Beck was once ranked 33rd in the world, but he sits at No. 93 and spends most of his time on the Challenger circuit. The German advanced to the semifinals at Challenger Tour Finals at the end of the 2011 season.
Federer and Beck met just once before at the 2010 US Open; Federer won that meeting in easy straight sets. The result of this encounter should be similar. Expect Federer to sail through to round three.

Rafa playing terrible today compared to 1st round match-play.........he should have won 1st set 6-1, allowed Haas to come back at him....................3rd set he has dropped his serve........................just playing loose today.
