    Sydney - Del Potro, Isner headline Wednesday play Top seed Juan Martin Del Potro is scheduled to headline competition, as he squares off against Lukasz Kubot on Wednesday. The Argentine is joined by second seed John Isner, who meets fellow American Bobby Reynolds.

    (1) Juan Martin Del Potro vs. Lukasz Kubot

    World No. 11 Juan Martin Del Potro trails Lukasz Kubot 1-0 in the series, having lost their only previous meeting on the Challenger Tour.

    Wednesday signals Del Potro’s debut for the 2012 season. He will be making his second appearance in Sydney, where he made the round of 16 in 2011.

    Kubot defeated Ivan Dodig in the opening round, 7-6(4), 7-5. The 29-year-old is bidding for his second round of 16 berth in Sydney.

    (2) John Isner vs. (Q) Bobby Reynolds

    World No. 17 John Isner leads compatriot Bobby Reynolds 1-0 in the series after winning a 2007 match in Calabasas.

    Isner is set to make his 2012 season debut early Wednesday. The 26-year-old will attempt to record his first main-draw victory in Sydney.

    Reynolds defeated Sergiy Stakhovsky in the first round, 7-5, 6-3. The 29-year-old looks to win consecutive tour-level matches for the first time since 2008.
