World No. 5 David Ferrer looks to reach the final four in Paris, as he takes to the court against hard-serving American John Isner. The players are set to contest their fourth meeting on Friday.
Fourth seed David Ferrer holds a 3-0 series advantage against John Isner entering into the Paris quarterfinals. The two are slated to meet for the first time since 2009.
Ferrer passed into the last eight after taking out 14th seed Alexandr Dolgopolov, 6-3, 6-2. The 29-year-old Spaniard is bidding for his fourth consecutive hard-court semifinal of the season.
With a victory on Friday, Ferrer is through to his first semifinal in Paris.
Isner dismissed Feliciano Lopez in the round of 16, 6-4, 6-2. The 26-year-old American will attempt to make his first semi since late August, when he sealed a title-winning run in Winston-Salem.
Prediction: Ferrer in three sets.

It is a big ask for Isner to take the title. Reaching the final will be enough for him to have a great tournement.
Especially Fed but als Berdychwill take him without to muchtrouble. The tournement good be best of with a Fed°Tsonga final. Again a game with history from the last two slams.
