Juan Carlos Ferrero vs. (Q) Nicolas Mahut

World No. 51 Juan Carlos Ferrero looks to break a 1-1 series tie with qualifier Nicolas Mahut on Monday. The two are set to meet for the first time in more than three years.

Ferrero is 20-10 for the season following a quarterfinal finish in Valencia. The 31-year-old veteran is bidding for his first Paris victory since 2005.

Mahut is a modest 10-10 at the tour-level after making the round of 16 in Valencia. The Frenchman will attempt to win his first Paris match in four seasons.

Mikhail Youzhny vs. (Q) Philipp Kohlschreiber

World No. 37 Mikhail Youzhny trails first-round opponent Philipp Kohlschreiber 1-6 in the series. The players have met twice in 2011, with the German winning four of five sets completed.

Youzhny looks to regroup after suffering an opening-round exit to Michael Lammer in Basel. The 29-year-old Russian is twice a quarterfinalist in Paris, having made the final eight in 2004 and 2007.

Kohlschreiber returns to action following a second-round defeat to Alex Bogomolov in St. Petersburg. The German aims to win his first match in Paris since 2008.
