World No. 1 Novak Djokovic looks to reach the final four at the Swiss Indoors Basel late Friday afternoon. The top seed is set for a quarterfinal meeting with former world No. 8 Marcos Baghdatis.
World No. 1 Novak Djokovic holds a 5-0 series advantage over quarterfinal opponent Marcos Baghdatis. The players last met earlier this season at Wimbledon, where the eventual champion recorded a victory in four sets.
Djokovic advanced to the final eight after beating qualifier Lukasz Kubot in straight sets. The 24-year-old is bidding for his 13th semifinal berth of the season.
Baghdatis dismissed qualifier Michael Lammer in the round of 16. The Cypriot looks to make his first semifinal since reaching the final in Kuala Lumpur.
Prediction: Djokovic in straight sets.

Haha! Nole getting royally hammered in that first set. Miles is a good coach, so maybe he might do some good for Baghdatis.

Nole bites back :)

Yup looking more solid and composed, although this really isn't Nole at his best. You can tell by how hard he is hitting the forehand crosscourt.

He must be the bookies' favourite, for stunts like this.

99.9999% of people were placing odds against him during this year. Favorite bets were on "when it will end?".... Only one guy almost managed to keep betting on Novak to win till RG, and then failed...
This looks again like regular Novak, never knows what he brings on court :)

Hmm, Nole not looking nearly so sharp today and Marcos is looking very sharp and is serving beautifully. Miles MacLachlan now coaching Marcos! Hello?
Expect Nole will wake up now in second set.
