Top seed Janko Tipsarevic looks to win his second title of the season, as he faces defending champion Viktor Troicki for the Kremlin Cup crown. The compatriots will be contesting their second career meeting on Sunday.
World No. 14 Janko Tipsarevic trails countryman Viktor Troicki 1-0 in the series, having lost their only previous meeting three years ago in Moscow.
Tipsarevic advanced to the championship final after taking out three-time former title-winner Nikolay Davydenko. The 27-year-old is bidding for his second title of the season, having put together a prior successful run in Kuala Lumpur.
Should Tipsarevic win the title, he will move to No. 10 in the race to qualify for the year-ending Finals in London.
Troicki earned the chance to defend his title following a straight-set ousting of qualifier Jeremy Chardy. The 25-year-old is through to his second final of the season, having reached the same stage in Sydney.
Prediction: Tipsarevic in three sets.
