Top seed Jo-Wilfried Tsonga will take on fellow seed Tomas Berdych for a spot in the China Open championship final. Both players enter into the match having yet to drop a set this week.
World No. 7 Jo-Wilfried Tsonga looks to break a 1-1 series tie with World No. 10 Tomas Berdych. Saturday signals their third meeting on hard-court.
Tsonga made the final four after beating former World No. 1 Juan Carlos Ferrero in straight sets, 6-3, 6-4. The 26-year-old Frenchman is bidding for his fourth final of the season, which includes a title-winning effort in Metz.
Berdych cruised through the quarterfinal with a 6-2, 6-0 victory over former top 10 player Fernando Verdasco. The 26-year-old Czech has lost just 13 games en route to the semifinal.
He will attempt to make his first championship final since Wimbledon 2010.
Prediction: Berdych in three sets.

Spot on, Berdych in three sets!
Quite an entertaining match, both bashing the ball like nobody's business. Big serves and hard hitting but I have to say Tsonga's ROS leaves much to be desired. Berdych's shots were deep and penetrating leaving Tsonga no chances to move forward, preventing Tsonga from playing his favorite net game.
Berdych really playing well this second half hard court season, despite some shoulder injuries. Cilic has a better ROS than Tsonga, I feel, but not serving as well as Berdych. Hopefully the final will be a competitive match and entertaining one too! Best of luck to both, especially to my second favorite player Marin.
