Top seed Jo-Wilfried Tsonga is set for a Friday quarterfinal meeting with former World No. 1 Juan Carlos Ferrero. The players are joined in action by Marin Cilic, who faces Kevin Anderson.

World No. 7 Jo-Wilfried Tsonga leads Juan Carlos Ferrero 2-1 in the series, which includes a 2010 hard-court encounter at the Masters 1000 Miami.
Tsonga earned a round of 16 victory over Chinese wildcard Ze Zhang 6-3, 6-4. The 26-year-old Frenchman is bidding for his 7th consecutive hard-court win, having put together a title-winning run in Metz.
Ferrero dismissed fellow Spaniard Marcel Granollers in the round of 16, 6-4, 6-4. The 31-year-old veteran looks to reach his third semifinal of the season.
Prediction: Tsonga in straight sets.
Marin Cilic vs. Kevin Anderson
World No. 25 Marin Cilic holds a 1-0 series edge against Kevin Anderson, having won their only previous meeting at the 2009 Australian Open.
Cilic survived a difficult round of 16, where he held on to oust Fabio Fognini in three sets. The 23-year-old remains on track to secure his third semifinal berth of the season.
Anderson defeated veteran Albert Montanes in two tie-break sets to reach the quarterfinal. The South African has struck 21 aces through two matches. He will attempt to make his third semifinal in 2011.
Prediction: Cilic in three sets.
