World No. 11 Jo-Wilfried Tsonga looks to make the round of 16, as he takes to the court against World No. 19 Fernando Verdasco. The players are joined in third-round action by Juan Monaco, who faces veteran Tommy Haas.

Eleventh seed Jo-Wilfried Tsonga trails 19th seed Fernando Verdasco 0-1 in the series. The two contested their only previous meeting at the 2009 Australian Open, where the Spaniard scored a victory in four sets.
Tsonga reached the third round by virtue of his straight-set win over qualifier Sergei Bubka. The 26-year-old Frenchman is bidding for his second berth in the round of 16.
Verdasco advanced to the third round, following his three-set success against Marsel Ilhan. The 27-year-old Spaniard will attempt to win his 32nd match of the season.
Prediction: Tsonga in four sets.
Juan Monaco vs. Tommy Haas
World No. 36 Juan Monaco holds a 2-1 series edge against veteran Tommy Haas. The players last met in Cincinnati, where the Argentine rallied to win a first-round match in three sets.
Monaco passed into the third round via the retirement of 23rd seed Radek Stepanek. The 27-year-old had built a two-set lead when the Czech called it a day at 0-2 in the third. Monaco looks to make his first round of 16 since 2007.
Former World No. 2 Tommy Haas defeated Alejandro Falla in the second round, 7-6(5), 6-1, 7-5. The 33-year-old German remains on track to win his fifth match of the season.
Prediction: Monaco in four sets.
