World No. 1 Novak Djokovic will take the court on a jam-packed day in Cincinnati against brash young American Ryan Harrison.
With one defeat on the season and 9 titles, Novak Djokovic has already had a record-breaking year. The Serb is the owner of 2 Slam titles at the Australian Open and Wimbledon and is gunning for a third at the US Open.
But first he has the Cincinnati draw to deal with. Ryan Harrison is an up-and-coming American ranked 78 in the world. Like most Americans, Harrison is at his best on hard courts. The 19 year old made two semifinals in the US Open series already.
Harrison doesn’t have the game just yet to upend an on-fire Djokovic. The Serb is too solid from the back of the court is especially on the return. Harrison is still learning shot selection, which means that his decision-making during a point isn’t refined just yet. Djokovic will happily take advantage of that fact.
Prediction – Djokovic in straight sets, with one tight set and one easy set.
