Former World No. 3 Nikolay Davydenko is set for a first-round clash with Sergiy Stakhovsky at the Western & Southern Open. Guillermo Garcia-Lopez is also in action, ready to square off against qualifier Julien Benneteau.

World No. 31 Nikolay Davydenko leads Sergiy Stakhovsky 1-0 in the series, having won their only previous meeting at the 2004 tournament in Moscow.
Davydenko makes his way back to competition after a second-round loss to World No. 1 Novak Djokovic in Canada. The 30-year-old Russian has reached the Western & Southern Open quarterfinal or better on three occasions.
World No. 42 Sergiy Stakhovsky looks to rebound following a second-round defeat to Nicolas Almagro in Canada. The 25-year-old Ukranian has yet to win consecutive matches since the French Open.

World No. 37 Guillermo Garcia-Lopez is level at 2-2 lifetime against qualifier Julien Benneteau. The Frenchman leads 2-0 on hard-court.
Garcia-Lopez will compete for the first time in August, having played his last match in Gstaad. The 28-year-old is bidding for his first hard-court victory since Zagreb.
World No. 112 Julien Bennteau is 10-15 for the season. The 29-year-old Frenchman will attempt to record his first hard-court win since the Masters 1000 Miami.
