John Isner is set for a second meeting with Marcos Baghdatis, as the players vie for a second-round berth at the Rogers Cup. Former finalist Juan Martin Del Potro will be in second-round action against Marin Cilic late Tuesday.

World No. 28 John Isner holds a 1-0 edge against first-round opponent Marcos Baghdatis, having won their only previous meeting at the 2009 Farmers Classic.
Isner looks to continue his hard-court effort after reaching the final four in Washington DC. The 26-year-old American made the semifinal before falling to Gael Monfils in three sets, 4-6, 6-3, 6-7(6).
World No. 40 Marcos Baghdatis advanced to the Legg Mason Classic quarterfinal last week. The 26-year-old Cypriot captured consecutive matches prior to his quarterfinal clash with American Donald Young. He is bidding for his 19th victory this season.
Prediction: Isner in three sets.
Juan Martin Del Potro vs. Marin Cilic
World No. 19 Juan Martin Del Potro leads Marin Cilic 3-1 in the series, as the players enter into the second round. The two last met earlier this year in Madrid, where the Argentine won a second-round match in straight sets, 6-3, 6-0.
Del Potro crushed veteran Jarkko Nieminen in the first round, 6-3, 6-0. The 22-year-old Argentine looks to capture his 38th victory of the year late Tuesday.
World No. 29 Marin Cilic dismissed Andreas Seppi in the opening round, 7-5, 6-4. He will attempt to win consecutive hard-court matches for the first time since March, when Croatia faced Germany in Davis Cup.
Prediction: Del Potro in straight sets.
