Kitzbuhel- Chela, Lopez kick off campaigns Top seed Juan Ignacio Chela will begin his run at the Bet-At-Home Open, as he squares off against opponent Daniel Gimeno-Traver. The Argentine is joined in round of 16 action by Feliciano Lopez, who faces Robin Haase.

    (1) Juan Ignacio Chela vs. Daniel Gimeno-Traver

World No. 23 Juan Ignacio Chela leads Daniel Gimeno-Traver 1-0 in the series, having won their only previous meeting on clay in 2006.

Chela looks to regroup after an early exit in Umag, where he fell to fellow veteran Potito Starace in the round of 16. The 31-year-old Argentine, who reached the Kitzhbuhel final in 2006, is bidding for his 24th match win this season.

World No. 80 Daniel Gimeno-Traver defeated Austrian wildcard Dominic Thiem in the opening round, 6-4, 6-2. The 25-year-old Spaniard will attempt to record his 10th victory of the year on Wednesday.

    (2) Feliciano Lopez vs. Robin Haase

Second seed Feliciano Lopez holds a 1-0 series edge against Robin Haase entering into the round of 16. Wednesday signals their first meeting on clay.

Lopez makes his return to competition following a quarterfinal finish in Gstaad. The 29-year-old won consecutive matches before falling to compatriot Nicolas Almagro, 4-6, 5-7. Lopez has made the Bet-At-Home Open quarterfinal or better in 2003, 2004 and 2005.

World No. 53 Robin Haase passed into the second round after opponent Potito Starace retired in the second set. The 24-year-old is 17-19 for the season, looking to win consecutive matches for the first time since Wimbledon.
