    Los Angeles- Fish, Gulbis closing in on final World No. 9 Mardy Fish will continue his campaign Saturday afternoon, as he squares off against fellow American Ryan Harrison. The top seed is joined in semifinal action by Ernests Gulbis, who takes on Alex Bogomolov.

    (1) Mardy Fish vs. Ryan Harrison

    World No. 9 Mardy Fish leads opponent Ryan Harrison in the series, entering into the semifinal. The players recently met in Atlanta, where Fish won a semifinal clash in straight sets.

    Fish made the semifinal by virtue of his 6-2, 6-4 defeat of 8th seed Igor Kunitsyn on Friday . The 29-year-old American is bidding for his second consecutive ATP World Tour final.

    World No. 94 Ryan Harrison rallied to oust Yen-Hsun Lu in the quarterfinal, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4. The 19-year-old American looks to reach his first ATP World Tour final.

    Ernests Gulbis vs. Alex Bogomolov

    World No. 84 Ernests Gulbis is 1-0 over Alex Bogomolov after winning a Challenger Tour match in 2008.

    Gulbis passed into the semifinal having taken out second seed Juan Martin Del Potro in straight sets. The 22-year-old Latvian will attempt to make his first final since early 2010, when he put together a title-winning run in Delray Beach

    World No. 64 Alex Bogomolov rallied to upend fourth seed Thomaz Bellucci in the quarterfinal. The 28-year-old American remains on course to make his first ATP World Tour final.
