Atlanta winner Mardy Fish looks to continue his hard-court form, as he takes to the court against Gilles Muller on Thursday. Joining the American in round of 16 action is fourth seed Thomaz Bellucci, who faces Alejandro Falla.

World No. 9 Mardy Fish makes his return to competition Thursday evening, having put together a title-winning run in Atlanta. The 29-year-old American is 26-14 entering into the tournament. He looks to reach his seventh quarterfinal berth of the year.
World No. 71 Gilles Muller survived a difficult opening round, where he rallied to defeat wildcard Steve Johnson in three sets. The 28-year-old dropped the first set, but came back to win in three, 2-6, 6-3, 6-4. He is bidding for his second consecutive tour-level quarterfinal.
(4) Thomaz Bellucci vs. Alejandro Falla
Fourth seed Thomaz Bellucci looks to break a 1-1 series tie with round of 16 opponent Alejandro Falla. Falla leads 1-0 on hard-court, after winning a 2008 clash in Indianapolis.
Bellucci is 21-15 for the year, having earned the majority of his wins on clay. The 23-year-old Brazilian will attempt to secure consecutive victories for the first time since Queen’s Club.
World No. 92 Falla took out qualifier Laurynas Grigelis in the opening round, 6-2, 6-4. The 27-year-old aims to make his first Tour-level quarter since February, when he advanced to the last eight in Delray Beach.
