World No. 42 Ivan Dodig is scheduled to debut at the tournament on Sunday. The first-time participant makes his return to action, following a first-round loss to Pere Riba at the French Open. World No. 56 Daniel Gimeno-Traver looks to rebound following a second-round exit to Philipp Petzschner in Halle. The 25-year-old Spaniard is a modest 6-17 heading into the UNICEF Open. He remains in search of his first victory at the tournament.
World No. 232 Javier Marti will attempt to win his first ATP World Tour match early Sunday. The 19-year-old Spaniard, who returns to Tour level after a first-round loss at the French Open, is slated to debut at the UNICEF Open this week.
