    7/10/10 1:26 AM | Kelli DeMario
Rochus, Fish look toward Newport final Olivier Rochus and Mardy Fish will attempt to make the title match at the Campbell’s Hall of Fame Championships on Saturday. The players are in action against respective opponents Brian Dabul and Richard Bloomfield.

    (4) Olivier Rochus vs. Brian Dabul

Fourth seed Olivier Rochus is set to face semifinal opponent Brian Dabul for the first time at Tour level Saturday afternoon. The pair met last season on the Challenger Tour, where a quarterfinal clash on clay went to the Belgian in straight sets.

The World No. 65 made his second consecutive Newport semifinal after recording early-round successes against Edouard Roger-Vasselin and qualifiers Sergei Bubka and Raven Klaasen. The 29-year-old has not surrendered a set through three rounds of competition. Should he pass through the semifinal, Rochus is through to his 8th career ATP World Tour final.

World No. 105 Brian Dabul booked his first ATP World Tour semifinal with a 6-4, 6-4 victory over Dustin Brown. The 26-year-old Argentine heads into Saturday’s match having compiled a 5-1 Tour-level mark in 2010.

    (5) Mardy Fish vs. (Q) Richard Bloomfield

Fifth seed Mardy Fish looks to earn his second grass court final berth in 2010. The 28-year-old American advanced to his first at Queen’s Club, where he finished runner-up to countryman Sam Querrey.

Fish is 21-11 after recording Newport wins over fellow American Michael Russell, Somdev Devvarman and Frank Dancevic. The Tampa resident will be making his fourth appearance in a Tour semifinal this season, adding to previous runs in Sydney, Delray Beach and London. With a win on Saturday, Fish moves into his 15th career championship final.

World No. 552 Richard Bloomfield made his first Tour-level semi following his victory over teenage wildcard Ryan Harrison. The Briton fell behind a set to the American, but rallied to win in three, 5-7, 7-6(3), 7-5. The 27-year-old will attempt to pocket career match-win No. 5 since his professional debut in 2002.
