France’s Jo-Wilfried Tsonga will look for his first-ever win over Robin Soderling of Sweden at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden.
In one of the more intriguing of the round of 16 matches, the world No. 6, Robin Soderling will take on No. 9 Jo-Wilfried Tsonga. Soderling comes into the match off a good win in the third round over Spain’s Feliciano Lopez. The Swede is playing good, hard-hitting tennis in Indian Wells, with his forehand doing most of the damage.
Tsonga was not quite as successful as Soderling in his third round match. The Frenchman was given a surprising test by clay-courter Albert Montanes. The Spaniard took a set from Tsonga before the Frenchman righted the ship and closed out the win in 3.
These two players have met on 2 other occasions – Soderling won both of those encounters. Based on their current form, this match looks to end with another check mark in Soderling’s win column. The Swede in straight sets.

i agree with SP - either Tsonga or Soderling will win this either in 2, 3, or by retirement

Ricky, you can't ever be wrong with that kind of prediction! ;-)
... unless of course either Tsonga or Soderling wins by default or walkover or ...

i agree with ricky. but if both players bring their "A"games and stay the course, i pick tsonga in 3-he hits the ball as hard as soderling but has better feel at the net and is a better mover around the court.

This one could go either way and probably will.
