Roddick is going for his first title since Dubai while Sela is going for his first title ever.
Roddick has looked solid all week, although not quite other-worldly like back in Dubai when he was mowing down Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal back-to-back and in straight sets.
Sela has had his best year on tour in 2008, but he might not be ready to take the first title step just yet. He has played very well this week, as all of his excellent shots have been landing in all week. His backhand especially has looked spectacular.
In this match, Roddick will come out firing, throwing down some big serves and backing it up with that huge forehand. In order for Sela to win this match, he has to do a few things. First off, he needs to serve very well; at least 60% first serve if he wants to have a good chance in this one. Also he needs to step up and take Andy's balls early. If Sela can keep himself on the baseline, playing aggressive, Roddick will retreat behind the baseline. If Andy does that, Sela will have a shot in this one.
In all likelihood, Roddick will take this title and move into 6th place in the Shanghai race.
