World No. 3 and last year's US Open finalist Novak Djokovic will try to put the finishing touches on a fine summer and get his second Slam of the year.
Djokovic, after losing to Safin back in Wimbledon, has played like a No. 2 player in the world, even better than Federer. Djokovic made the quarterfinals in Toronto--losing to Andy Murray--the finals in Cincinnati--beating Rafael Nadal before losing to Murray again--and made the semis in Beijing--losing to Nadal before claiming the bronze over James Blake.
All in all it's been a pretty good few months for Djokovic coming into this one. Djokovic will employ his big serve and all-around aggressive and solid game to overpower and intimidate Arnaud Clement.
The Frenchman can handle Djokovic's game as he proved in their last meeting, winning it in three sets. That match, however, was over a year ago, in Queens 2007. Needless to say, Djokovic has much improved since then and should have no problem dispatching Clement unless he has a horrendous day.

Did you know that... James Blake dropped out of Harvard University after his sophomore year to pursue a career in professional tennis.
