     - Darcis blitzed Ben Becker in the previous round while Björkman has made a dream run thus far with 3rd set tiebreaker wins over American opponents.

    Steve Darcis vs. Jonas Björkman

Darcis will look to make his 2nd ATP title match on Saturday in Memphis as he faces Swedish veteran Jonas Björkman. Darcis made mince meat out of Benjamin Becker in the previous round, a result that surprised many people, considering Darcis was an over 2.00 underdog. Its not that Darcis was playing very well at all, its just that Becker played like a futures player.

As for Björkman, it took him 3 tough sets to take out Donald Young in the youngster's first ATP quarterfinal. Björkman also won a 3rd set tiebreaker in the previous round against Querrey. Björkman has looked alright thus far this week, doing what he can do to get to where he is. This might be the last hurrah for Björkman.

As for the match itself, Darcis will look to dominate the baseline rallies and move the old man around. Björkman will try to serve big and keep the points short by moving in to the net as fast as possible. This one can go either way, but Darcis should have the advantage here. If Björkman has a great day serve and volleying, I can see him in the final as well.
