• Raonic heads the field in Eastbourne

Raonic heads the field in Eastbourne The short Wimbledon run-up moves into its final week, with Canadian Milos Raonic leading the pack in Eastbourne at the AEGON International.

Milos Raonic, ranked 15 in the world, snagged the top seed in Eastbourne, in the last opportunity for the men's tour to get match play on grass before Wimbledon.

He shares his half of the draw with No. 3 seed Phlipp Kohlschreiber and No. 4 seed Juan Monaco. Kohlschreiber is a good grass court player, but Monaco prefers clay and isn't likely to make a big run on the grass.

The biggest question mark will be the Ukraine's Alexandr Dolgopolov, who has had a disappointing 2013 season. Dolgopolov hasn't been past the quarterfinals of any tournament this season and he's suffered first round losses at both the Australian Open and Roland Garros. His game should work well on grass, but current form could keep him from success in Eastbourne.

Raonic will be favored to get through his half of the draw, but surprises are frequent on grass.
