    Dusseldorf - Haas rallies, Tipsarevic upset Second seed Tommy Haas advanced to the quarterfinal at the Power Horse Cup, having rallied to oust Croatia's Ivan Dodig in three sets. He is joined among the final eight by Guido Pella, who upset top seed Janko Tipsarevic.

    (2) Tommy Haas def. Ivan Dodig 3-6, 6-4, 7-5

    Second seed Tommy Haas is through to the quarterfinal after rallying to upend Croatia's Ivan Dodig. The 35-year-old veteran converted four of 6 break points through two hours of play. Haas completed the second-round effort with 42 of 62 first-service points captured.

    He is scheduled to take on 6th seed Jarkko Nieminen for a place in the semifinals.

    (Q) Guido Pella def. (1) Janko Tipsarevic 7-6(1), 6-1

    Qualifier Guido Pella advanced to the quarterfinal with a straight-sets upset of top seed Janko Tipsarevic. The 23-year-old Argentine converted four of 10 break points through an hour and 29 minutes of play. Tipsarevic ended the match with 19 of 45 second-service points won.

    Pella is through to face 7th seed Viktor Troicki in the next round.
