    Raonic, Robredo battle in Barcelona quarterfinal Fifth seed Milos Raonic will be looking to made the final four in Barcelona, as he faces former World No. 5 Tommy Robredo. The winner moves on to face defending champion Rafael Nadal or Albert Ramos in the semifinal.

    World No. 13 Milos Raonic is through to the final eight in Barcelona after taking out Latvia's Ernests Gulbis in straight sets. The 22-year-old held 10 consecutive service games en route to a 6-2, 7-6(6) victory in 94 minutes. Raonic ended the day with 7 aces and 35 of 48 first-service points captured.

    He is seeking his second consecutive semifinal at the Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell.

    Former world No. 5 Tommy Robredo advanced to the quarterfinal after rallying to oust world No. 6 Tomas Berdych. The 30-year-old Spaniard converted four of 5 break points through to a 3-6, 7-6(5), 6-3 victory.

    He is bidding for his third semifinal berth in Barcelona.
