    Barcelona - Raonic advances, Janowicz upset Tournament seed Milos Raonic is through to the round of 16 after dismissing France's Edouard Roger-Vasselin in straight sets. The Canadian is joined by Spain's Albert Ramos, who rallied to oust 9th seed Jerzy Janowicz.

    (5) Milos Raonic def. Edouard Roger-Vasselin 6-4, 6-2

    Fifth seed Milos Raonic advanced to the third round by virtue of his straight-sets ousting of France's Edouard Roger-Vasselin. The 22-year-old held nine consecutive service games through 71 minutes of play. Raonic ended the match with just 11 points surrendered on serve.

    He is through to face Latvia's Ernests Gulbis in the next round.

    Albert Ramos def. (9) Jerzy Janowicz 4-6, 6-2, 6-3

    Albert Ramos is through to the round of 16 after upending 9th seed Jerzy Janowicz late Wednesday. The Spaniard converted four of five break points through an hour and 51 minutes of play. With the match level at a set apiece, Ramos broke to 3-1 in the final set.

    He will take on 6th seed Kei Nishikori for a place in the quarterfinals.
