Raonic added to massive Miami pullout list Add Milos Raonic to the massive pullout list at the Miami Masters after the Canadian was forced to bag his third-roundmatch against American Sam Querrey.

The No. 1 Canadian fell ill with strep throat but won his first match over Guillaume Rufin last week. He was unable to shake the bug before facing Querrey, the top American in the ATP rankings. "I got sick over the last two days with strep throat. I felt really bad the last two nights. I wasn't able to sleep with the high fever," said Raonic.

"I had discomfort and pain all over the body. I was trying to play it out as long as possible. But I feel completely drained."

It was the second straight year that Raonic has withdrawn before a Miami match. In 2012 he was unable to play in the third round against Andy Murray after injuring an ankle. "Between a twisted ankle and illness, I hope that's it for bad luck in Miami. This is something that is going to pass."

Raonic expects to be in fighting fit form for Canada's Davis Cup quarter-final next weekend against Italy in Vancouver. "I'm sure I'll be fine for Davis Cup."
