    (15) Tommy Haas def. (19) Alexandr Dolgopolov 6-3, 6-2

Fifteenth seed Tommy Haas advanced to the round of 16 after ousting 19th seed Alexandr Dolgopolov in straight sets. The 34-year-old veteran tallied 13 aces en route to a 6-3, 6-2 victory in 87 minutes. Dolgopolov struggled with his second serve, winning just 9 of 25 points.

Haas moves on to face World No. 1 Novak Djokovic for a place in the quarterfinal.

    (7) Janko Tipsarevic def. (26) Kevin Anderson 4-6, 7-6(5), 6-0

World No. 9 Janko Tipsarevic is through to the fourth round following his three-sets victory over South Africa's Kevin Anderson. The Serbian #2 converted five of 9 break points through two hours and 28 minutes of play. With the match split at a set apiece, Tipsarevic went on to drop just four service points in the decider.

“I was really confident in the third set,” Tipsarevic explained. “Beating Kevin, who is probably one of the Top 5 servers out there, with a 6-0 set, gives me a lot of confidence heading into the next round.”

Tipsarevic takes down Anderson too? My hats are off to anybody who's bracket does remotely well this tournament. These results are crazy.

Don't do brackets but this is the weakest Miami in 10 years for sure.

Didn't watch Anderson-Tips 3rd set but Anderson sort of gifted Tipsarevic the second. He was up in the tiebreaker, then hit some lose shots and wrapped it up for his opponent with a double fault at set point *56 in the 2nd set breaker.

I never thought I'd agree with chr19, but we all know why this is the weakest Miami for years.
