    Ferrer, Wawrinka reach Buenos Aires final World No. 4 David Ferrer advanced to the final match of the tournament after ousting compatriot Tommy Robredo in straight sets. The defending champion is through to face 3rd seed Stanislas Wawrinka, who beat 2nd seed Nicolas Almagro.

    (1) David Ferrer def. Tommy Robredo 6-3, 6-2

    Defending champion David Ferrer made the championship final with a straight-sets defeat of former World No. 5 Tommy Robredo. The top seed converted four of 9 break points through an hour and 18 minutes of play. Robredo struggled with his second serve, winning just seven of 19 points.

    By virtue of Saturday's success, Ferrer is through to his third consecutive final at the Copa Claro.

    (3) Stanislas Wawrinka def. (2) Nicolas Almagro 6-3, 7-5

    Third seed Stanislas Wawrinka advanced to the final after upending former champion Nicolas Almagro in straight sets. The 27-year-old Swiss held eleven of 11 service games through an hour and 11 minutes of play. Almagro, who went 0 for 4 on break points, completed the match with seven of 19 second-service points won.
