Juan Martin Del Potro took out young gun Grigor Dimitrov to move into Sunday's final, his second in two years.
This was a tidy performance by Juan Martin Del Potro. Dimitrov, who has worked himself into good form in 2013, did not show the kind of brilliance that saw him past Marcos Baghdatis. The Bulgarian allowed unforced errors to creep into his game.
In truth, Dimitrov only played two poor service games, one in each set, but he never managed to get a lock on the Argentine's serve. Dimitrov had just two break-point chances in the match, both of which came in the opening set.
Del Potro lost last year's final to Roger Federer; this time around the world No. 7 will take on Frenchman Julien Benneteau.

Happy for JMDP. Benneteau is a good player, but unfortunately, he runs out of gas as he goes deeper in the tournament. I would have liked to see a rematch of Fed and JMDP.
