Thanks to the Spanish doubles team of Marcel Granollers and Marc Lopez, Spain is still alive in their first round Davis Cup tie against Canada. Sunday will feature top Canadian Milos Raonic against Granollers.
World No. 34 Marcel Granollers put in a dismal performance in his first rubber against Frank Dancevic, with the Spaniard losing in straight sets. But thanks to Granollers' effort on Saturday with Marc Lopez, the Spanish side still has a chance.
Unfortunately for Spain, Granollers will be taking on Milos Raonic, ranked 15 in the world and owner of one of the toughest serves in all of tennis.
This will be the first meeting between the two men. Raonic will go in as the heavy favorite. He'll have the vigorous support of the home crowd and the indoor hard court surface suits his game. In addition, Granollers appears to be struggling with his form this weekend.
Prediction - Raonic to seal the upset win for the Canadians.
