If a fifth rubber is required in the Spain-Canada Davis Cup tie, the result will come down to the play of either Frank Dancevic or Albert Ramos.
If Marcel Granollers finds a way to beat Milos Raonic in the first rubber scheduled for Sunday, Albert Ramos and Frank Dancevic will take the court in the deciding rubber.
Dancevic was brilliant in his first singles rubber on Friday, upsetting Marcel Granollers and giving Canada a 2-0 edge over Spain going into Saturday's doubles match. Granollers, who is doing double duty this weekend won with partner Marc Lopez to keep Spain alive.
Judging on ranking alone, Ramos would be considered the favorite. The Spaniard is ranked 51st in the world to Dancevic's No. 166, but the Canadian was clearly the better player on Friday. Dancevic will have the crowd behind him and though Ramos held up reasonably well in his match against Raonic, if Dancevic is in the same form he was in his first match, Canada will score the upset.
