Eighth seed Janko Tipsarevic passed into the fourth round after outlasting veteran Julien Benneteau in five sets. He is joined in the round of 16 by 10th seed Nicolas Almagro, who defeated 24th seed Jerzy Janowicz in straight sets.

Eighth seed Janko Tipsarevic is through to the round of 16 after rallying to upend 32nd seed Julien Benneteau in five sets. The 28-year-old tallied 13 aces and 48 winners through three hours and 29 minutes of competition. Tipsarevic ended the match with three of 10 break points converted.
He will take on 10th seed Nicolas Almagro for a place in the quarterfinals.

Tenth seed Nicolas Almagro advanced to round four by virtue of his straight-set ousting of Poland's Jerzy Janowicz. The Spaniard struck 18 aces and 34 winners en route to a 7-6(3), 7-6(4), 6-1 victory in 125 minutes. Almagro completed the third round without facing a single break point.
