  • Del Potro seeks two more weeks of indoor form

Del Potro seeks two more weeks of indoor form Juan Martin Del Potro is hoping for two more weeks of top indoor tennis after upsetting home hero Roger Federer 6-4, 6-7(5), 7-6(3) to win the Swiss Indoors, his second title in as many weeks after Vienna.

The seventh-ranked Argentine now owns four ATP titles this season, including three under the roof after also winning Marseille in February.

The South American is fighting an accumulation of fatigue after winning his 10th consecutive match in the wake of his comeback from a one-month pause for a left-wrist injury. He is due to play in the Paris Masters then travel to London after qualifying for the eight-man World Tour Finals, which wraps up the season starting November 5.

"I want to celebrate this victory and then recover a little bit for Paris," said the player who leads the ATP indoors with a 17-1 mark in 2012. "I'd love to win my next two tournaments as well, but right now I can only try my best."

Del Potro spoiled the hometown party for Federer, who had been aiming for a sixth Basel title in the last seven editions. The last time the pair met, it took nearly four and a half hours for Federer to squeeze out a semifinal victory at the London Olympics, a match that went to 19-17 in the final set.
