Seppi rolls at Kremlin Cup, Jaziri tops Rosol Andreas Seppi makes quick work of Tatsuma Ito in the Moscow quarterfinals on Friday. Next up for Seppi is Malek Jaziri, who dismissed Lukas Rosol in straight sets.

    (2) Andreas Seppi d. (8) Tatsuma Ito 6-2, 6-1

Seppi needed a mere 59 minutes to crush Ito in the quarterfinals of the Kremlin Cup on Friday afternoon. The 25th-ranked Italian fought off break points in two of his first three service games, but it not take long for him to seize complete control. Seppi faced no more break points the entire way and his second break of the day wrapped up the first set in style at 5-2.

Ito held for 1-1 in the second only to utterly fall apart. The world No. 63 double-faulted twice in a row starting at 30-30 in the fourth game and from there it was all over. Seppi broke easily for 5-1 then closed out the match on his racket without any trouble. Moscow's No. 2 seed struck five aces and no double-faults to set up a semifinal clash against Malek Jaziri.

    Malek Jaziri d. Lukas Rosol 7-6(5), 6-3

Jaziri booked a spot in his first career ATP semifinal by holding off Rosol in one hour and 44 minutes on Friday. The turning point came with Jaziri serving at 5-6 in the opening set, when he fought off three set points. Both players saved a total four break points apiece en route to the tiebreaker, which Jaziri pulled out seven points to five.

The 112th-ranked Tunisian maintained his momentum by breaking right away in the second and taking a commanding 3-0 lead. Rosol held his serve from there and had three more chances to get back on level terms, but he could not convert. The 88th-ranked Czech finished with just one ace and two double-faults, while Jaziri recorded five aces and double-faulted once.
