US Open seed Milos Raonic is through to the fourth round after taking out veteran James Blake in straight sets. The Canadian is joined by fellow seed Mardy Fish, who won a late-night contest against France’s Gilles Simon.

World No. 16 Milos Raonic advanced to the fourth round after downing former World No. 4 James Blake in straight sets. The 21-year-old struck 29 aces through to a 6-3, 6-0, 7-6(3) victory in an hour and 48 minutes. Raonic completed the third-round match with five of 11 break points converted.
He will face World No. 4 Andy Murray for a place in the quarterfinal. The Scot defeated 30th seed Feliciano Lopez in the round of 32.
(23) Mardy Fish def. (16) Gilles Simon 6-1, 5-7, 7-6(5), 6-3
World No. 25 Mardy Fish made the round of 16 late Saturday, having outlasted France’s Gilles Simon in four sets. After taking the third-set tie-break, the American took a key service break at 3-3 in the fourth set. The 30-year-old ended the night with 16 aces, 67 winners and 7 breaks of serve.
He is slated to meet World No. 1 Roger Federer in the next round. The top seed dismissed Spain’s Fernando Verdasco in round three.
