    Cilic beats Andujar to set up meeting with Djokovic Marin Cilic overcomes Pablo Andujar in straight sets on Thursday in Cincinnati. Cilic starts slow but books his spot alongside Novak Djokovic in the quarterfinals.

    Marin Cilic trailed early in the match but recovered to blow past Pablo Andujar 7-6(4), 6-2 in the third round of the Western & Southern Open on Thursday afternoon. Cilic served at an awful 43 percent but he broke serve five times to advance in two hours and 10 minutes.

    Andujar served for the first set at 5-4, after storming back from a break down himself, but he could not close the deal. Cilic managed to force a tiebreaker then powered through it seven points to four. The 6'6'' Croat trailed 2-0 early, but he won seven of the last nine points.

    From there it was all over for Andujar, who lost his way from the start in set two. The 40th-ranked Spaniard surrendered serve in the first and third games to fall behind 3-0. He got one of the breaks back and pulled within 3-2, but Cilic broke at love for 5-2 and closed out the proceedings one game later. Cincinnati's No. 12 seed converted his second match point with his sixth ace.

    Andujar finished with a horrendous eight double-faults and 53 unforced errors, compared to one ace and 16 winners. Cilic will go up against world No. 2 Novak Djokovic in the quarterfinals.
