Argentina's Juan Martin Del Potro will take on Viktor Troicki of Serbia in the round of 16 as the entire field takes the court on Thursday.
Olympic bronze medalist Juan Martin Del Potro goes into his third-round match against Viktor Troicki with a perfect 5-0 record over the Serb. The two men last met this year on the indoor courts in Rotterdam, a match which saw Del Potro surrender one game.
Troicki completely destroyed Lleyton Hewitt in the second round to earn his spot opposite Del Potro. The Aussie veteran had been playing well but came out flat on Wednesday and won just two games.
Del Potro will come into this match well-rested. The Argentine had a first-round bye and took on a tired Tommy Haas in the second round, a match he won in straight sets.
Prediction - Del Potro's game is suited to faster hard courts and his game matches up well with Troicki's. The Argentine in straights.
