• Murray looking for breakthrough at Wimbledon

Murray looking for breakthrough at Wimbledon World No. 4 Andy Murray looks to capture his first Grand Slam title as he returns to action at Wimbledon. The Scot will attempt to regroup after an abbreviated run at Queen's Club earlier this month.

Andy Murray is back on court following an opening-round loss to veteran Nicolas Mahut in London. The 25-year-old has compiled a 26-9 season record, aided by a title-winning effort in Brisbane.

Murray will be making his seventh appearance at the Championships, where he has reached the final four for the last three years.

The world No. 4 leads a competitive quarter of the draw that includes (7) David Ferrer, (9) Juan Martin Del Potro, (16) Marin Cilic, (19) Kei Nishikori, (21) Milos Raonic, (30) Andy Roddick and (32) Kevin Anderson.

Additional players in the same section are Dustin Brown, Mikhail Kukushkin, Andrey Kuznetsov, Florent Serra, Go Soeda, Igor Kunitsyn, Robin Haase, Tatsuma Ito, Lukasz Kubot, Sam Querrey, Santiago Giraldo, Grigor Dimitrov, Ivo Karlovic and former world No. 8 Marcos Baghdatis.

The nearest seed to Murray is Anderson, who looms as a possible third-round opponent. Further progress through the draw may set a round of 16 clash with Cilic or Raonic and a quarterfinal clash with either UNICEF Open champion Ferrer or three-time finalist Roddick.

Murray is scheduled to begin his campaign against former world No. 3 Nikolay Davydenko.

Should the British No. 1 reach his fourth semifinal, he looks toward a probable meeting with two-time Wimbledon champion Rafael Nadal for a place in the final.

Any one of these guys, perhaps you're right but it's a cumulative problem of a series of big hitters he has to go through in succession. Possibly Karlovic-->Anderson-->Cilic/Raonic-->Delpo only to get to Rafa and Nole.

That's some serious continual firepower. Poor Muzz will be shell shocked!!!

Andy is doing pretty good, feeding Davy a bread stick :-)

Deuce you don't have to stay behind the sofa, it's just the first round so don't worry that much and not the time yet to constrict yourself at the back of the couch. lolz

Vamos AndyM !!!

Great opening match for Murray, this will do his confidence a world of good. Davy looks like he's passed his sell-by date.

See the difference in Muzza's movement on grass compared to clay? He is positively gliding here!

I don't care what level Davy's at...............Muzza IS a threat.................
