    Queen's Club - Nalbandian, Baghdatis through to round two Former world No. 3 David Nalbandian is through to the second round in London, having rallied to upend Canada's Vasek Pospisil late Tuesday. The Argentine is joined by fellow seed Marcos Baghdatis, who held on to beat Frederico Gil.

    (10) David Nalbandian def. Vasek Pospisil 4-6, 6-2, 6-2

    Tenth seed David Nalbandian advanced to the second round after taking out Vasek Pospisil in three sets. The 30-year-old converted four of eight break points en route to a 4-6, 6-2, 6-2 victory in an hour and 41 minutes of play. Nalbandian ended the match with twelve of 13 service games held.

    He is scheduled to meet Belgium’s Ruben Bemelmans in the second round.

    (11) Marcos Baghdatis def. Frederico Gil 7-6(2), 4-6, 6-2

    Eleventh seed Marcos Baghdatis made the second round, having held on to defeat Portugal's Frederico Gil. The Cypriot tallied 13 aces through to a 7-6(2), 4-6, 6-2 win in two hours and 19 minutes. He completed the opening-round effort with three service breaks and 62 of 78 first-service points captured.

    Baghdatis will take on the Czech Republic's Lukas Rosol for a place in the quarterfinals.
