Djokovic looks for rebound in Rome After losing in the quarterfinals in Madrid, Novak Djokovic will look to rebound with his return to red clay at the Rome Masters.

Novak Djokovic was the defending champion in Madrid last week, but the slick conditions and compatriot Janko Tipsarevic saw him out of the event in the quarters. The world No. 1 will be back with his feet under him in Rome as he kicks things off against either Bernard Tomic or Santiago Giraldo.

Djokovic shouldn’t face much in the way of a test in his portion of the quarter. After Tomic, Djokovic is slated to take on Juan Monaco of Argentina. The real test for the Serb is likely to be in the quarters. Jo-Wilfried Tsonga is the next highest seed in the section, but the conditions in Rome would suggest that Juan Martin Del Potro is the more likely opponent.

Djokovic may have a test on his hands against Del Potro, he Serb should find his way into the semifinals, where he may meet Madrid champion Roger Federer.
