Additional players in the section are Jeremy Chardy, Victor Hanescu, Pere Riba, Guillermo Garcia-Lopez, Albert Montanes, Igor Andreev and 2007 title winner Paul Henri Mathieu.

The German is scheduled to begin his campaign after a first-round bye.

Other combatants in the same half are former finalist Potito Starace, Flavio Cipolla, Filippo Volandri, Benoit Paire and Rui Machado.

Like Mayer, Dolgopolov will kick off his bid following an opening-round bye.
